Take the decal as you
received it. Measure center of decal itself (not the paper) than
measure your surface area for proper aligning. Place a small piece
of tape on each end of decal and completely through the center as
shown in this picture. This crates a (Hindge)
Now take your proper
aligned decal and remove the small piece of tape from one end.
Note:
Have your scissors and squeege within reach. Start separating the
decal from the backing paper slowly making sure all of the decal
stays on the application paper. Lay the decal back making sure not
to stick it to anything. Cut the backing paper off as close to the
center tap as you can. As shown in this picture.
Holding the decals in
your left hand. Use the squeege in your right hand and starting from
the center tape, work the decal down and outward evenly forcing out
any air bubbles. As shown in this picture.
Repeat Step 2
for Other Side of Decal
Now remove both other
pieces of masking tape and Repeat step 2. The left side of the decal
will now hold it in position.
Now that the entire
decal is on the surface and squeeged down. Start at one end and
begin removing the application tape, pulling it back at a 45 degree
angle slowly making sure the decal stays on the surface. If you have
any air bubbles left in decal. Use a pin to poke little holes in
them and force the air out.
If doing a wet
application , you will have to wait for awhile before you can remove
the application tape, giving time for the moisture to leave under
the decal so it will stick to the surface.
